Easy Cranberry Pistachio Cheese Log Recipe

This sweet and tangy Cranberry Pistachio Cheese Log would be the simplest yet most memorable appetizer for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any holiday party! And it took 10 minutes to put them together!

It's complicated and amazing yet deceptively straightforward to set up. At exactly the same time, it's so yummy that everybody will crowd until every last pistachio crumb is licked the plate off.

The sharp, crisp crust of fresh cranberries and pistachio crusts paired together with the tangy, creamy and smooth hot goat cheese is a heavenly indulgent texture. Sprinkle the entire item with honey to improve the flavor and balance the tangy cranberries and goat cheese, then consume it with all the Crunchmaster cracker to get a more flavorful feel.

This Cranberry Pistachio Cheese Log may be paired on a cheese with nuts, berries, etc.. Or it can be served stand alone with crackers. Additionally, it is yummy sprinkled on baguettes, hamburgers, cakes, etc.. No matter how you present this cheese log recipe, it is going to be a hit!

How to Make Cheese Log

Once you've bought Crunchmaster crackers and are all set to make Logs of Cranberry Pistachio Cheese, you may be serving your fighter very quickly! To create them, first put your fresh cranberries and pistachios in a food processor until finely chopped. I have never noticed a block of cheese with sliced peppers such as that one and allow me to tell you, it's divine and looks gorgeous!

Transfer 1/2 cup sliced cranberries and pistachios into a medium bowl to create a filling. Next, add the goat cheese, cream cheese, honey and dried thyme, dried Rosemary ginger, cinnamon, salt and pepper, blend well. The fact that we inserted pistachios, cranberries and spices to the inside of the cheese log and not only the outside means that it provides flavor through and through the same with maximum flavor through and through.

The filling will probably be quite soft at this point, therefore we insert it to the plastic wrap and then shape it into a hook, wrap it and freezer for about 20-30 minutes before it's a bit hard but we still want it to become semi. -Soft so the layers will stick with it.

Then sprinkle your chopped cranberries and pistachios onto a sheet of parchment paper into a square coating slightly bigger than the length of the log of cheese. Insert the cheese logs to the edge of this Twist and then roll until evenly coated, pressing the Twist into the cheese so it sticks. Viola! You just made a very pretty, joyous, and highly coveted Cranberry Pistachio Cheese Log!

Log cheese can be tightly wrapped in plastic wrap at this point and refrigerated for a couple of days till ready to serve - adore this, as, when it comes to holidays, appetizers are about simplicity. When ready to serve, remove the Cranberry Goat Cheese Log in the refrigerator about 15 minutes ahead that it kills and reaches room temperature. Sprinkle enough honey before serving to complement the sweet cranberries and goat cheese and serve with your Crunchmaster biscuits.

Cranberry Pistachio Cheese Log Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients

Cranberry Pistachio Coating

  • 5/8 cup cranberries
  • 0.50 cup of roasted peeled pistachios

Cheese Log

  • 3.50 oz log or tub of goat cheese
  • 2 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/8 tsp EACH ground ginger, ground cinnamon, salt, and dried thyme, dried Rosemary
  • 1/16 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup Cranberry Pistachio Coating Mix (in directions)

Garnish

  • honey

Instructions

  1. Add cranberries and pistachios into a food processor and chop them into small pieces (but don't take too long). Eliminate 1/2 cup and add to a bowl. Add all the remaining Goat Cheese Logs ingredients to a bowl and blend well.
  2. Insert this cheese mixture to a huge plastic wrap, and shape it into cubes. Wrap in plastic wraparound Freezer for 20-30 minutes. We would like the cheese log to be a bit hard so it holds its shape but still soft enough to get the coat to press into it.
  3. Line a counter with approximately a piece of parchment paper. Add lining material into the parchment and disperse it into a single layer of squares marginally bigger than the period of the cheese log. Add cheese logs to the edge of the Layers and roll up in the Layers (see photograph ) until they are evenly coated, pressing the layers into the cheese so that it sticks. Log cheese may be redeemed at this point until ready to serve or serve immediately.
  4. When ready to serve, take them out of the fridge 15 minutes ahead in order that they can soften. Sprinkle honey to taste before serving. Serve with crackers.
