Crack Dip Recipe

Crack Dip is a great dip, perfect for parties or game day! With a cream cheese base and lots of bacon and cheddar, it’s seasoned with ranch seasoning mix for the crowd or even if you're just hanging out at home with the family!

What is Crack Dip?

I have to tell you, I didn't mention this sauce but I love making it! Easy Crack Dip, cheese, and full of bacon. Cream cheese, sour cream, and Mayo make the base so soft and seasoned with the ranch sauce mixture. Add bacon (or cutlets), cheddar, and chives.

Variation

Spicy Add a handful of diced jalapenos or hot sauce.
Meaty Add chicken or sausage
Seasonings Swap out the ranch mixture with a mixture of Italian sauce or your favorite fresh herbs
Bake Serve cold or bake this sauce in a 400 ° F oven for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Best dippers for the Crack Dip

Here is a list of my favorite dippers for this cheesy crack sauce!

  • Crackers: Any type of cracker flavored with butter, Triskuit, or toasted baguette slices.
  • Chips: Any type of tortilla or potato chip.
  • Vegetables: Celery, carrots, or cucumber slices. Try filling the mushroom cap and heating it with a little melted parmesan cheese on top.

  • 8 ounces of soft cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ounce ranch dressing mixture
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese

How to Make a Crack Dip

It's so easy, it's ready in just 2 simple steps!

  1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, ranch mayonnaise mixture, and garlic powder with a mixer on medium speed. If you are stirring by hand, make sure the ingredients are at room temperature. This makes it easier to mix, be sure to chill before serving.
  2. Carefully add the rest of the ingredients and chill at least an hour before serving.
